MINISTRY VISION, EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES 

I am not special – but I am a committed pastor who lives and breathes this calling without being a workaholic. I believe my first ministry is to my family. With a family pedigree of ministry (eight of us having served in full time pastoral ministry),  I’m a third-generation pastor who loves God's church, knows this calling, and appreciates the struggles and dependence of a pastor on God.
I am committed to the life-long calling of shepherding God's people.  
  

I truly love Jesus Christ, in whom I abide by His grace, by whom I have been redeemed, and through whom I try to live every facet of my life, learning daily to surrender more of myself to His kingdom rule.

MY VISION 

I'm full of ideas and passionate about creatively, inventively, and systematically growing God's house and fulfilling His mission. Yet, my vision is basic because it is biblical. Prayer. Preaching. Discipleship. Care. Evangelism. Apologetics. Teaching. Mercy. Faith lived out in every corner of our lives and communities. There is a lot of innovate, slick talk today with "vision" but honestly I find most of of a bit much. Let's be a church focused on bringing glory to the Father by abiding in the Son. Let's be a church that's real - meaning really biblical. Let's meet people's deepest needs for a Savior and Christian community. Let's speak of Christ's supremacy and stop speaking to felt needs. Let's let Christ be all and in all and not worry about putting on a stage show. I say we walk in the Spirit and not trends.  Let's be multi-cultural if God leads us there and be multi-generational, united, and known by our love. Let's invite the lost to come and see and be the church that goes and tells the very good news of Jesus Christ.

MY MISSION
I live to see Christians fall deeper in love with Jesus and His Word, and am passionate to see those outside the church know who Jesus is, have their doubts answered, be saved, and come home to abundant, abiding life with Jesus and His loving, real community. I hope I'm on God's mission, and not my own. And if so, I pray I strive always to equip the saints for ministry, build up the church to look and live like Jesus, and to see the church search for the lost to be found by Jesus.

MY MINISTRY IS FLOURISHING WHEN

Christ is first and center in all we do. All people are heard and cared for in the church. We together become true worshipers of Jesus Christ. Believers fall in deeper love with and obedience to God's word. leaders edified and replicated as disciples become disciplers. Lives and communities are transformed in Christ. More of the lost in our circles are saved. And when the Father is glorified and Christ is magnified. ​
