In all the chances I have to preach God's Word, I aim foremost to glorify Christ by pointing to and holding Him up in each sermon, letting the Bible speak from its context and reveal Jesus, connecting God's truth to our everyday lives, and trying to get out His way to let the Spirit do His work.

I've been blessed to grow up under pastors like Begg, MacArthur, Keller, Hayford, and my father and owe them a lot. I do believe the main things are the plain things while also addressing our post-modern concerns, hangups, and doubts. I believe firmly in the inerrancy and sufficiency of the Bible,  in careful and clear teaching that helps us grow as hearers and doers of the Word as we connect Scripture to culture, relationships, and daily struggles and joys. To that end, I strive to be
